For our annual Summer Blast Off day, Bowen transformed into the Boston area with a variety of activity choices.
Our free play area became the Red Line with the Cod Toss Challenge at the Boston Pier, canvas painting at the Institute of Contemporary Art, and constructing bridges along the Charles River.
The gym became the Blue Line with games, relaxation, and Mr. Master’s Tattoo Emporium at Revere Beach, and Enormous Monopoly at Government Center.
The lower field became the Orange Line with Jamaica Pond boat racing, Jamaica Way Bumper Tag, and badminton and other games in the park.
Finally, the upper field became the Green Line with the Fenway Park Home Run Derby, the Boston Garden Basketball Obstacle Course, and MFA street art, featuring frozen and “exploding” chalk.
