On Tuesday, May 14th, the “Recreators” made their third trip to Cold Springs Park where many exciting events took place. Here’s a run down on what transpired. Joel let the kids run wild literally as he encouraged all participants to get off the bus and run screaming into the open fields of the park. Will B. took interested participants on a woods walk through the ancient natural surroundings in search of birds, salamanders, and diverse flora. Our director, Ellen, took time to escape from her enormous stack of paperwork to enjoy a much needed run on the many paths this wonderful public facility has to offer.
