Ozone students visited iRobot headquarters in Bedford. During a guided tour of iRobot’s in-house museum, students saw many robots created by the company and a variety of products designed for the home, military, aquatic research, and for play. Highlights of the trip included seeing iRobot’s makerspace designed for their employees and the opportunity to test drive a military robot used for surveillance. At the end of the trip, iRobot generously donated two Roombas to BASCP — one to use and one to take apart.
