Valerie won the perfect timing prize by planning her hand warmers project for the coldest week of the year. Children sewed different designs and filled the warmers with rice. The hand warmers can then be microwaved for twenty seconds, and … Continued

The K-1 Group was treated to the Amazing Magic Show by Philip and Henry. Many young (and older) volunteers, were part of the show.
The seeds were planted on Thursday and the sprouts were out by Monday.

On Friday, 4th and 5th graders went to the gym to have a giant paper airplane contest. Teams were judged on distance, accuracy, design, and acrobatics.
