On Thursday, Bryan, Ellen, Will, and several students visited Newton City Hall. After touring the building and learning about Newton history, the group went to the balcony of Memorial Hall to watch a band play holiday songs. After the concert, children were treated to cider and cookies. While children enjoyed their snacks, Mayor Setti Warren came by to say, “hello,” and to posed for a picture with our group. Finally, children braved the cold weather and crowds to watch the magnificent tree lighting.
