Top Chef Salad

On Friday, all Ozone students participated in Top Chef Salad. Each team had 15 minutes to create a salad and a homemade salad dressing before their creations were meticulously judged by highly respected food critics. Highlights of the event included a contestant who refused to tell the judges what ingredients were in his salad dressing, an olive oil spill, a black olive dispute between a fourth grade girl and judge, a disagreement among teammates over a plain yogurt based dressing, an argument over whether fruit should be in salads, and innovative carrot stuffed olives.
