Jump Rope for Heart Update

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

We had another productive week for Jump Rope for Heart. Helen and Olivia introduced the Jump Rope Challenge to students. Brandon and Alan continued running club — this week, we ran a total of 2.5 miles. So far, 31 children and 4 adults have tried running club at least once. Also, Will and Christie led our first Walk for Heart Field Trip as they toured the neighborhood and took photographs:

Children (and some adults) are doing a great job raising money for the American Heart Association. 30 people in the BASCP community have raised money, and Monica and the Caring Club have worked hard to prepare for today’s healthy bake sale, with all proceeds going to the American Heart Association.
