K-1 students made collage style doors that can open and close out of paper and textures created from print outs of numerous exterior wall materials.

Fourth and fifth graders were only allowed to use aluminum foil, and they tested their boats by seeing how many pennies their boats could hold.
Throughout November, Kindergartners learned about types of whales. At the end of the month they voted on their favorites.
Second and third graders built boats for Connect 4 passengers while listening to smooth, tuneful Yacht Rock.

All grades took turns searching the Bowen hallways for pirates. By successfully completing the scavenger hunt, each program earned special art supplies to use at BASCP.

The ocean background was created by 4th and 5th graders, and the sharks were created by students in all grades. Some of the sharks swam away to students’ homes before being photographed.
