This year, Monica and the Caring Club decided to participate in Pennies for Puppies, a service project that raises money to support the training and care of seeing eye dogs. A few months ago, children created penny donation jars to have at BASCP sign-out areas. Children then brought jars to several Newton Centre businesses. Last week, children brought the penny jars back and were very pleased with the generosity of Newton Centre businesses and their customers. Thank you Tango Mango, JP Licks, Bill’s Pizzeria, Sandwich Works, Rosenfeld’s Bagels, Learning Express, and Deluxe Station Diner for letting us collect pennies for puppies at their locations.
