April has gotten off to an active start. Running Club with Brandon and Alan began this week with 20 participants, and, before the rain arrived, the group ran a total of five laps around the upper field. Yesterday in the gym, Ozone students joined Stars students for an hour of jumping rope. A highlight of the afternoon was K-1 teacher, Olivia, and kindergartner, Noam, swinging the giant rope for fifth grade jumpers, Ava and Sephora.
Children and teachers have also done a good job gathering donations for the American Heart Association. Thank you to Will, Ben, Haley, Noah, Yoonchul, Hannah, Megan, Sean, Sam, Sophie, Nicole, Aaron, Aviv, Willa, and Victoria for raising money this week.
