Family Fun Night – Cardboard Edition

After a pizza dinner, BASCP families enjoyed all things cardboard — cardboard arts & crafts, cardboard imaginary play, cardboard building, cardboard foosball, cardboard basketball, a working cardboard video game controller, cardboard skee-ball, cardboard looms, and so much more cardboard.

Thank you to all of our students and teacher who worked all of October to create such a fun event.

Fun & Games

Throughout October, Ozone students have been creating cardboard arcade games inspired by The Cardboard Challenge. To reward our students for their hard work, we decided to bring them to a “real” arcade.

Photography Field Trip

It was a perfect day for Ozone students to walk to Newton Centre to take some photographs.

Walk to Webster Conservation Area

The Comets hiked the hills of Webster Woods stopping to capture layered rubbings of select textures to make an abstract aesthetic. Students walked through the remains of the summer forest fire and used burnt wood that had turned to charcoal to record some additional rubbings before returning to BASCP. -Will Chamberland

Marshmallow Architects

Ozone students battled to see who could build the tallest tower with marshmallows, straws, toothpicks, and fragile pasta.

STEAM Team: Mystery Bag Challenge

2nd and 3rd graders were presented with a mystery bag filled with random supplies, which they then used to create creatures.

Ozone Photography

Our students have taken more photographs this week.
